Peep our newest webisode for PowMow if you’ve got a sec. We’ve got 6 more currently in edit-landia that will be dropping over the next few weeks featuring things like Al Roker, ginger Alpacas, military parades, stuffed lion heads and fire breathing eaglealopes. It’s going to be a good time.
So we got a little nuts with our Christmas card this year. We’re into the Holidays so we decided to do it up real big like Oprah’s undies. The cards we sent out had scratch off codes where people could go to our Christmas site (stsworkshop.com) and pick a gift from under the STS tree. Then we sent out a potpourri of presents that ranged form the awesome to the borderline offensive. To mange all of this we built a CMS on the back end so we could track who checked in, what present they selected and who got shipped what when. For those who didn’t get cards/gifts we created a Zombie Elf Attack game where the top high scorers could earn presents. We illustrated and developed the entire game in house. Our nerds got skills yo. On the Christmas site there was also a gift gallery so you could see the ridiculous gifts everyone else got. We also had a give a gift section where you could send friends fake certificates for land deeds, star naming and donations to the Derek Zoolander Center for Kids Who Can’t Read Good, in their name. We also added in a Pewee Herman cameo, singing shark and shit-talking squirrel for good measure. All in all it was a long ways to go for a roast beef sandwich but serious good times. Wait till you see what we do next year.
Beer labels are to designers what catnip is to felines. Check out the label we just cranked out for Hoppers new Sno Ale. Had a blast doing this one and look forward to many more. Swing by Hoppers and give it a taste. We promise you’ll like it if you’re into Christmas and awesomely delicious things.
Our homies at Ride Snowboards asked us to come up with some online shenanigans for their Wedgie Footbeds. After doing some in-depth research on our interns we felt like we had a good grasp on the whole wedgie concept. Here’s the banner our digital wizards conjured up for them. (more…)
The Art Institute wanted to feature some of our work in their lobby so we sent them a schload of boards. They look much better like this than stacked in the corners of our office 50 deep. We should probably hang them up on our walls but that would mean taking down our dream catcher collection. And that is not an option. We have ridiculous dreams that need catching and nothing does that like circular Navajo webs of twine and feathers from the finest of truck stops. (more…)
Just cranked out some sweet rich media take over banners for Wyoming Tourism featuring Old Faithful. We worked with our homeboy Dave Yost over at Barnhart Advertising to get these banners bangin. Usually we just throw our work up on the site and move on. But this time we’re going to pull back the curtain a little so you can get a glimpse of what it takes to make a banner that doesn’t suck.
