Project Powder Mountain Posters
Powder Mountain offers over 7,000 acres of terrain, 144 runs, snowcat skiing, powder country, back country tours, 2 terrain parks, a Burton Learn to Ride Center and has more skiable acres than any other resort in North America. With these things in mind we created the “As Big As It Gets” campaign. The campaign was very well received and got all kinds of love including a feature on Comm Arts and inclusion in Archive Vol. 2-2011.
Project Powder Mountain Billboards
This out-of-home campaign informs tourists not only to stay away from the local’s precious Powder Mountain pow, but that failing to do so could lead to the most dire of consequences. In a watered down local advertising climate, this campaign made a huge splash around SLC, was featured on the local news and was featured on Communication Arts’ homepage.
Project POWDER MOUNTAIN SITE
Powder Mountain doesn’t have a ski beach, gondolas or golden bathroom fixtures like many of their big resort counterparts—it’s just not their steez. So yeah, you probably wont see Oprah there, but what you will notice about Powder Mountain is that not many resorts are as committed to creating such an awesome online experience for their customers. This site was our first step in taking Pow Mow to the next level in this sphere and the home base of their online presence.
Project POWDER MOUNTAIN MOBILE APP
While Pow Mow isn’t necessarily known for their high-class amenities like many of their Utah counterparts (we’d like to keep it that way), we’ve worked hard to take their digital presence to the next level, and this app was one of the first steps in getting there. This beautifully designed app features mountain conditions, snow cams, a trail map, and daily photos, so users can obtain the pertinent info on their way to the hill.
Project POWDER MOUNTAIN LOCALS APP
The 2011-2012 snow season was dedicated to Powder Mountain’s beloved Pow Mow locals, which prompted us to create this app aimed at hooking them up real proper. Simply, the app worked as a home for a weekly quiz that rewarded the locals for their knowledge of the mountain. Each week the stakes were raised and Pow Mow provided better prizes for the most knowledgeable Powmanians, who were beyond stoked to get swagged out with everything from new gear to backcountry powder safaris.
Project Powder Mountain Spots
As far as clients go, Powder Mountain is amongst the best we’ve ever worked with, and this campaign is a testament to their commitment to doing outstanding work. As part of the “As Big As It Gets” campaign these webisodes featured things like Al Roker, ginger Alpacas, military parades, stuffed lion heads and fire breathing eaglealopes. It was seriously good times. Check ‘em out.
