It doesn’t matter how beautiful those design documents are, without our Mountain Dew fueled developers, none of it would even matter. Development is the last major step in an interactive project. In this phase developers take the design files and start to build out each element with thousands of lines of what looks like straight gibberish to the rest of us. All those ones and zeros come together in a beautiful symphony of chaos to make sure that site or app looks good on browsers from your phone to computer, to refrigerator (unless you’ve got an old fridge).
